Boost Your Career was created to support new and returning women on their journeys into the professional workplace. Through using simple techniques designed to help them thrive in the modern workplace and navigate their way through the politics of workplace culture, Boost helps women reach their career visions and goals. 

Boost approached us in the preparation phase of their business. We worked alongside the strong and driven female-led team to provide a range of creative services to ensure that they had all the assets needed to launch their business into the big, wide world. This included three key elements: branding, character design and illustration. 

The branding phase included the development of a logo, brand values, mission statement, colour palette, typography and brand application. We provided Boost with a questionnaire to understand more about their business, motivations, inspirations, goals and audience to ensure we were aligned with their vision and then got to work. We began with the colour palette and logo design, whereby the final versions tells the story of Boost through a muted but rememberable colour palette, hand lettering that represents how every woman is unique in her own wonderful way and soft, rounded edges to represent fun and approachableness. 

The character design phase of this project included the development of a character who communicates and represents the brand’s values and story. This was achieved through illustrating a strong, professional yet approachable and warm woman. We ensured that her skin colouring was not ethic specific to appeal to women of all ethnicities and cultures. Boost’s character represents the feelings of confidence, success and self assurance that women who utilise Boost’s resources and expertise will receive. 

The final aspect of this project included five infographic style illustrations that communicate and simplify what Boost is all about. We ensured that these illustrations were both on brand and cohesive.
