I have had a fun and exciting journey to get to where I am. Finding a passion, but also getting to understand a complex form of creativity. Graphic recording, graphic facilitation, scribing or graphical note taking, whatever you’d like to call it has shown me the power of communication and storytelling.

Graphic Recording has become my passion, my driver and my livelihood. I made some great decisions to get here and I’m glad I did.

Illani was created and developed after spending nearly 15 years trying to find a practical, good-quality workspace solution. Like all good discoveries, it was born out of frustration that someone hadn’t already done it, and it became apparent that it would be simpler to just learn how to design, build, and manufacture a workstation than keep looking for something would provide all the benefits he was looking for.
