ABC Dishy
Podcast Cover

In 2020, the ABC engaged Patch Creative to assist them in the illustration and design of a podcast cover for Dishy. Hosted by former Australian test cricketer and foodie, Matthew Hayden, Dishy invites a different well-known Australian guest onto the show each episode to chat about the stories behind the meals they have eaten. The Aussie all-star line-up included AFL Legend Adam Goodes, the influential Turia Pitt, chef and TV presenter Poh Ling Yeow, just to name a few! 

Patch Creative worked to adhere to organisational guidelines as we created a bespoke design that captures the attention of audiences and communicates what Dishy is about . Not only did the design need to look and smell tasty, but it also needed to give a nod to the wide range of cuisines, cultures and walks of life that would be spoken about during the 10 episodes. This was achieved through illustrating two sets of hands to represent Hayden and each guest, indulging in a cheeseboard (a crowd favourite) and using a vibrant colour palette to tie it all together.
