One of Australia’s favourite comedy duo’s and all round mischief makers Hamish and Andy have made the nation giggle and guffaw with their hilarious nonsense both on radio and television since 2003. In more recent years they made their way back on to live stages not with their usual brand of comedy but as a trio with their long-term producer Jack Post, as rock-comedy music outfit; Coolboys and the Frontman.
With news breaking that the guys were embarking on their second ever live music tour, Jack got in touch with Jimmy requesting a fierce new t-shirt design to really pump up the volume at their online store. The added challenge being that the concept would be developed on-air by Hamish & Andy as they brainstormed all the ridiculous scenarios that could occur while on tour.
After listening religiously to each and every prime-time radio segment and altering elements on the fly, Jimmy finally got the go ahead on a private jet theme for the tour and delivered the goods with a sleek black and white illustration fit for the fliest of captains.
“We got in touch with Jimmy to help us to create a design to go hand in hand with our tour and communicate our show’s style. We enjoyed the creative process to land on the final illustration and felt that Jimmy worked well to provide creative direction. The final product was definitely well received.”
