UNISPACE x WORKDAY
Patch Creative were engaged by Unispace to create all interior artworks and murals, both printed and hand-painted, for the new Workday HQ office fitout in South Brisbane, Queensland. The artworks we created are vibrant, full of energy and give a nod to all things ‘Brisbane’ with each artwork working in conjunction with the next as they meander through the expansive office space like the Brisbane river snakes its way through the city.
Hand-painted murals
We created two 7m x 3m murals in the central office and games room. The central office space’s mural, ‘Hello World’ greets employees and visitors with a bright and energetic enthusiasm setting the tone for engagement amongst the Workday office at large.
The games room mural, ‘#WDAYLIFE’ is an ode to fun and that whilst every workplace values productivity, Workday values the wellbeing of their team and having a space such as this allows for a sense of balance many organisations strive for. Our mural is the icing on the cake in this room, really bringing the intention of the space together.
Digital Murals
From the landing as you leave the lift to enter the Workday office at South Brisbane, you are met with artwork created by Patch Creative Co. Ribbons of steely blues and turquoise interlace and move across the hallway walls and in the audio booths representing the Brisbane River and the interconnectivity championed in Workday’s culture.
In breakout areas, we’ve created more digital artworks that give nod to the technological influence of the company with an aerial depiction of Brisbane City as a switchboard. These artworks add life to almost every corner of the vibrant office space and we’re proud to have been part of this Unispace project.
