West Village

West Village is an innovative 2.6 hectare inner-city site incorporating boutique eateries, bespoke residences and vibrant community hubs. A highlight of the precinct is the Garden Pantry, a public garden oasis complimented by three exciting restaurants housed in refurbished shipping containers.

With Brisbane’s West End home to many well loved neighbourhood cafes our challenge was to create an outstanding animated campaign to introduce the fresh new kid on the block and whet the appetites of fashionable foodies. As the site at the time was yet to be completed we took inspiration from the rustic-chic shipping container concept and incorporated a colour palette in keeping with the Hamptons vibe that the team sought to emulate. Added into the mix were illustrated elements plucked directly from the featured menus and brought to life with a drawing style we created specifically for this project using dedicated digital brushes.

 
 

Final Animation

The final animation is a fun and energetic piece that brings a little bit of Brisbane cheekiness to an otherwise stylish presentation. As an added bonus the West Village team decided to use our work on static billboards that take pride of place on-site now that it is complete.
